About

I'm Charlie, and I run Cochituate Woodworks. I started out whittling when my parents got me a Swiss Army Knife for Christmas when I was nine. I made some spoons and some "knives" (there were just old, rotting bits of wood that I put a point on). Neither looked good at all. But the point is that it sparked an interest in me to make a spoon or other item better every time. So here I am, a 11 year old entrepreneur with a website, making wooden products and paracord bracelets. I also now have way more skill/experience and I invested in some sharper, carving knives.

To be sustainable, I source all wood from fallen trees and branches. Some wood is also salvaged from scrap bins that were going to be burned. Also, all products are handmade.
